feel your food or exercise habits are out of control, impacting your ability to live a values-aligned life
had an eating disorder in teens/20s and are now going through perimenopause/menopause and having diet thoughts or weight loss desires re-enter your brain
constantly feel at odds with your weight and want to find weight stability/comfort in your body size
worry your child is a picky eater and that their nutrient needs aren’t being met
are neurodivergent and use food to “stim” and want to explore this aspect of your relationship with food
feel confused, frustrated (or even jealous) about family/friends getting on GLP-1s
have had an eating disorder for 20+ years and nothing has helped (I predominately use Internal Family Systems (IFS) in support of these clients.)
are fixated on becoming thinner or feel your body size is what keeps you from living a full life
are looking to heal your own relationship with food to become a better role model for your kids
want to grow in trusting your body’s cues of hunger and fullness, rather than following a diet
do Internal Family Systems (IFS) work with your therapist and would like a dietitian trained in IFS to explore your relationship with food and exercise
I love the feeling of being fully heard, understood, seen and accepted. I aim to create that relieving and comforting space for clients.
Outside of work you can find me going to the stables (my kids and I all ride horse – I’m terrible, but I keep showing up!), hosting/leading our church small group, or relaxing in our pool. I’m married and have 3 kids (all girls!). I have found parenting to be awesome, filled with wonder and…overwhelming!
I’m a big believer that none of us have it all figured out in any consistent and ongoing way and I enjoy walking alongside clients as they journey through life.
I doubled majored at Texas A&M University to receive a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. I continued my education at The University of Texas School of Public Health where I received my Masters in Public Health (MPH) and completed my dietetic internship.
Before joining We All Eat, I spent several years working at my own private practice, following that time I slowed down career-wise to be home with my young kids before starting working again at a Residential treatment facility. I’m happy to be back in private practice and on the team at We All Eat!
I have a special interest and extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and enjoy incorporating that into my sessions with clients when we hit a stuck point.
