Food can bring people together, carry nostalgic memories, and offer a sense of comfort and joy. All foods have a place in our lives, but sometimes diet culture gets in the way of that and sets unrealistic standards about how we should look and what foods we should be eating. Honoring a definition of health without the constraint of weight and size and exploring the principles of intuitive eating are important parts of this journey. Together we can find a sustainable solution to eating which fits your needs.
I am a classic people person. I constantly find myself feeling a need to spend time with others. I receive energy from social encounters and am always excited to meet someone new. We all have fears that we're constantly challenging, huh?
I received my Bachelors of Nutrition Sciences from the University of Houston, and I completed my Dietetic Internship with the University of Houston’s Distance Program.
